Global Educational Network of Ethiopia(GENET)

GENET is a network of Ethiopian intellectuals, (physicians, academicians, teachers, businessmen women, engineers, lawyers, etc.) with goals to:

1. Develop strong student exchange programs between schools in Ethiopia and abroad
   
2. Develop of the Ethiopian Educational Resource Center(EERC) by linking
   the Virtual School of Ethiopian Studies(VSES) with other educational Resources in the world
   
3. Collect, compile and disseminate scientific, art and cultural works of Ethiopian scholars
   
4. Develop the Ethiopian National Education Fund Responsible for identifying funding resources and soliciting funds via grant writing as well as asking private donations
   
5. Publish quarterly reports on all activities of the Virtual School of Ethiopian Studies including, the list of course offerings, teaching assignments, calling for award competition, course schedule, announcements regarding examination etc.
